Cycling in France

Whilst everyone in the U.K was basking in the sun on the hottest day of the year I was in France with my bicycle

(I have been on holiday on the hottest day of the year for the last 4 years – boring, but true fact).

The roads were lined with fields of Lavender.

When it got too hot we jumped off our bikes and into the river.

Here we are pushing our bikes back up from the river.

We rode mostly on the cycle path, it’s 350 km long and loops around the Provence. It was absolutely incredible.

For a mere 3 euros we bought a shed load of cherries from a farmer by the side of the road.

They were so fresh and tasty.

Happy memories are formed and friendships forged over bicycle rides and yummy food.

Nice.

Bikes with engines??? Eh???

A bike with an engine means leather not lycra.

Take your lovely looking bicycle and your favourite camera to Hastings beach and let the sun warm you and eat a nice ice cream.

Davids New Polo Bike

Davids request for his bicycle were a bit different to most. He didn’t want gears, he didn’t care too much about things matching, he wanted a 33 tooth chainring, he said no to drops. We built him this bike to play polo with, so he didn’t ‘kill’ his other bike. He seemed pleased with the result.
